About this calibration
Method
Calibrated gravimetrically: the water a pipette dispenses is weighed on an analytical balance and converted to volume — the method described in ISO 8655. Your quotation states the volumes tested and the number of repeat measurements.
How often
Most laboratories recalibrate every 6 to 12 months, and after a pipette is dropped, repaired or gives unexpected results. Your quality system sets the interval.
Your certificate
Records the error and repeatability at each tested volume, with the measurement uncertainty, so you can compare it with your tolerance.
